Trip Out West 2009 "Our Big Adventure"
Cliff, Lisa and Korie drove out West in August, first to Utah to visit Hannah and Curtis (and Buddy), then to Arizona to visit Julie and Rob and Zachary and Logan. The trip was a real blast! We got to go 4-wheeling in the mountains and see baby deer, watch a Pioneer Day Parade, see a Rodeo, visit a cabinet shop and make home decorations, slide down an almost mile long slide, shop (of course), see the Grand Canyon, Temple Square, the BYU Campus, go fishing, stay in hotels (Korie thinks this is fun), play with Buddy, spend time with family and friends and drive, drive, drive.........We left the Grand Canyon for home on Friday at noon and got home Saturday night at 9:00. We called it "our big adventure". We hope you enjoy some of our pictures! Thank you Curtis and Hannah for being such great hosts and making us feel so comfortable in your home. We love you both so much. And thank you Rob for coming home early to meet us (even though we were late) and Zachary and Logan for being so patient when you were hungry and Julie for being kind to the waitress at Chili's :)

Trip Out West 2009 - River fishing
Korie caught a fish in the Provo river. I think Curt said it was a brown trout. She wouldn't take it off the hook or hold it. They put him back in the river in case you're wondering :)

Trip Out West 2009 - Temple Square
Cliff, Lisa, Korie, Hannah and Curtis on our visit to Temple Square in Salt Lake City. It was so interesting to watch the Sister Missionaries interacting with people of all nationalities, speaking in their languages and giving tours.
